On Friday (the 11th) I made it to the HALFWAY point of my maintenance phase of chemo!

Huge shoutout to my liver for not failing (#ChemoProblems), shoutout to my blood cells for hanging in there and the biggest shoutout of all to the Lord for fighting this battle with me.

Isaiah 43 is so encouraging to me. God is faithful. He promises that He will be faithful to His people. He knows us by name. He wants to be with us during the hardest times of our lives.

Isaiah 43:1-2

But now, this is what the Lord says—
    he who created you, Jacob,
    he who formed you, Israel:
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
    I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
    I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
    they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
    you will not be burned;
    the flames will not set you ablaze.

Chemo has been so rough but I am continuing to fight each and every day! It is hard to believe that I have made it to the halfway point but I am proud of myself.

24 weeks down. 24 weeks to go.

I would appreciate it if you could continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

P.S. Recently I met a new friend who is staring chemo today. Please keep her and her husband in your thoughts and prayers.
